The Mobile Takover

The Takeover Of Mobile Internet - Will It Replace Desktop Use?

The title is misleading - there is only one internet.

However is being challenged by the walled gardend of iOS apps, Facebook Xchange and Twitter.
A whole new industry will develop as all the 'technology partners' and 'technology solution providers' , which were previously ad networks, ad exchanges. DSPs, SSPs , and data aggregators, will have to find a new business model, if they are to seek new seed capital.

These third party networks can't work in a world where the cookie cannot track you across the web.

And that is the most disruptive part of mobile - the venerable old cookie has run out of time and it only turning 18 years of age-cut off before its prime.

A new measurement or tracking tool will have to be embraced, though I suspect that it will be far shorter than 18 years before someone finds a way to exploit it.

Anyone who tells you they can track audience across mobile, desktop and all else, is telling porkies.

That's the biggest headache the MobileTakeover has created.
