The world of web, just like life is never static. The picture tells all. No matter what anyone says about Google, Flickr, Facebook and Twitter, email is still the Daddy of them all.
This can explain a lot about Facebook's and Google's activity in the last twelve months in terms of aggregating your email addresses under one hood-beit Facebook's or Google+.
Most of our online activity takes place in communicating via email and the more information Facebook and Google have on this, the greater the appetite for them to monetise it via advertising.
Data has never been so big-but most of us don't actually realise that we are submitting all this information to the Harvesters.
Even as I write this, I've realised I am signed into the Gooleverse automatically, without even logging in.
